089 - From Volunteer to Career, A Multi-State Journey with Jonathan Brumley
Show Notes

Jonathan Brumley started his fire service journey as a volunteer in a combination department in his home state of Colorado.  It didn't take long for Jonathan to be bitten by the fire service bug and decide that firefighting was the career for him.

On today's episode Brian and Jonathan discuss that journey.  From his volunteer days, to his first career position in Nebraska, to the City of Houston and then back home to the Denver Fire Department.  Jonathan shares how his volunteer time, his mentors and the culture of the organization gave him the foundation to be the successful firefighter that he is today.

We also dive into his passion for hose packages and the 2.5 inch attack line.
